Marcie is an accomplished marketing communications practitioner with over 25 years' experience in a combination of in-house and agency roles. Her career began in financial PR, but the majority of her time has been spent developing and implementing corporate, B2B and B2C communications strategies for a wide range of organisations. These include venture-funded start-ups to charities, global corporations and the public sector. Marcie has a wealth of experience in devising messaging and content that informs and inspires and she is adept at managing projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
Marcie's work with entrepreneurs, advisors and investors has given her useful insight into the challenges faced by small businesses as they grow, but sheis equally at home tackling the communications needs of national and global organisations. She thinks 'big picture' without forgetting the details and enjoys helping clients reach their audiences by maximising all the channels available in today's digital world. Her mantra is 'joined-up communications'.
Most recently, as interim communications director for global charity The HALO Trust, Marcie led a change programme which began with comprehensive rebranding and required careful management of stakeholder groups.
